My sister-in-law is due to have my nephew soon. In like a couple weeks.
I want to do something different for him.
They plan on naming him Camden.
I wanted to do something cool with wooden blocks that spell out his name.
He would be sharing his nursery with his 15-month-old brother, so there is not a ton of room in there. It is a decent size room..plenty of room to play, a queen sized bead, a changing table, a crib, a bookshelf, an end table, and other things fit in there and still leave plenty of walking room.
Now...I will be buying the plain colored blocks and painting them myself. What kind of paint would best be used on wooden blocks? And is there like a cover or a sealer I should use?
What I was thinking of doing was buying like a mini shelf and glueing he blocks on there. But also glueing wooden painted trains or something.
I just want something neat for his nursery. I want something I could make.
I looked through the memories section and nothing jumped out at me...so any suuggestions would help.

Also, do we have a tutorial section here? I made this beaded cuff out of mini pony beads, and I made a tutorial-that I hope would help people-and I would post it in here if anyone was interested...I am not sure if that is allowed though.
