craftgrrli was looking on karamloop.com, and they have a few denim bags/purses that are really cute, but can definitely be made by practically anyone. they charge $58 dollars for these:

and cute as they are, this is a total rip off. especially considering that if you make one yourself it'll cost you less than 10 bucks all around...
they did however provide me with more inspiration to make some more denim purses.
