Oct. 15th, 2003 04:17 pmIn response to the sickening "National Marriage Protection Week" (http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/10/20031003-12.html)which seems a lot more like national encorage discrimination week to me I've decided to hand make some post cards to send to the white house expressing my opinions of this 'lovely' event and I also plan on making some collages of pictures reprsenting as many different types (gays, straights, preps, goths, rich, poor, white, asain, old, young etc) of people as possible and then across the tops of these I'll paint lil phrases such as "What really matters is WHO you are not WHAT you are" and "Love is blind, it can not see religion, gender, race or wealth. All it can see is a human being for you to care about. If only we could all be so 'blind'" and "Our differences are what make a unique and wonderful." and so on. On the bottom of all of them I'm going to paint "oppose National Marriage Protection Week and the discrimination of minorities." And then I'm going ot post them all over town. I promiss I'll post pictures once it's all done.
