please don't shoot me.
Oct. 17th, 2003 11:12 amHey Ladies. I know it's bad form, oh believe me I know, but I'm asking for a bit of help in exchange for a bit of web-stardom. I run a feminist PR company called Lefty Lucy Communications, and I'm doing web-based promotions for a movie called Love That Boy.
The film was written and directed by Halifax/Toronto indie-film-starlet Andrea "Parsley Days" Dorfman, who always uses a lot of crafts in her movies. In this film, the lead character (Phoebe) has this insane list of things she wants to get before she finishes university. Things like "knit a sweater" "inner peace" "wine tasting" "learn braille", etc ... So on the website, we're hoping to have a handful of awesome DIY instructions, posted as "Phoebe's how-tos".
I was wondering if anyone would like to offer up a favourite craft/recipe/homemaking-brainstorm to be reprinted on the site, in exchange for blog/journal linkage?
(ducking)
If anyone is so generous and kind, I can be reached at handmade@lovethatboy.com
Sorry! Sorry!
