OH HELP. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS REMOTELY CRAFTY.

I have the sewing skills of a -3 year old. That's right. Negative three. And see, I have this pair of old men's worker pants that I cut up with plans to make a skirt in mind. And then I realized the horrible truth.

So, in conclusion, or is that introduction, since I'm just now getting to the point of all this...

Is there any way to, er...Get a sewed-esque result without getting that whole bothersome SEWING thing involved?

I've gotten so desperate and anxious as to eye the Elmer's Glue. *hangs head*

but i've been too unmotivated to actually post in it, until now.

i'm currently a sophomore in high school, and i enjoy any sort of artsy-crafty thing, but most i most especially like sewing, emroidery, needlework, cross-stitch, painting, drawing, and polymer clay. i haven't worked at all in polymer clay for a while though, unfortunately...

Craft Fairs

I love craft fairs.

I went to one this afternoon and it was wonderful. I so totally enjoyed it. There was so many neat works there. Including food. :^) But that's not my point. Some of the stuff I found there was amazing. Like miniature flowers from MExico made into jewelery, hand painted lightbulbs, lamps made out of marbles (I wish I had a picture), stained glass tiles, stained glass and metal sculptures, stone chandle holders, beautiful quilts and shams... the list goes on.

There's so many things I want to do now! Quilting, weaving, stained glass, jewelery, metal work, stone work.....

So I'm going to go work on my knitted hat now... cuz I'm feeling really motivated. :^) Nothing like seeing other people making stuff to make you want to amke stuff too.

yup, i'm into arts and crafts. i make silver and aluminum chains and necklaces, i also do beadwork and i love to paint, draw and do anything that keeps me busy, pretty much e.e . so anyways, i hope sometime in the future i can post some pictures of what i've done, and i'd love it if you girls could help me improve, too. :D
