I am making photo albums for two of my friends and was wondering if I go to Kinkos, can they bind a small bunch of papers for me? Or is there any other way to bind pages together that will look nice? There is about 15 pgs of construction-ish type paper. Thanks mucho!!

thank you so much for the excellent advice i received regarding fabric paint yesterday. i wound up buying a small set of versatex screen printing inks. the recommendation is to let the painted material dry, iron it, then put it through a commercial washer and dryer. has anyone set paints similar to these this way? how does the ironing work (iron the back? put something underneath it? iron the front with something over it? setting?) and what do you think of the wash/dry suggestion?

a reminder that this is for a quilt panel for a friend's wedding quilt, so i'll want it to hold up as long as possible, but it probably wont get washed too frequently.

merci, again.

I recently came across a bunch of inch-long beaded fringe, orange and pink and white seed beads attached to an orange ribbon. Six feet, all together. It would look cute across the bottom of a skirt, or hanging off of a lampshade, or whatever. This stuff goes for about 12 dollars a yard at the fabric store. Anyone want to trade me something for it? Computer games? Chunky costume jewelry? Body parts?

(I accidentally posted this to my journal, too!)
