I'm delurking for the first time. I'm an arts & crafty girl in the midwest whose style is
anything but country. I'm looking for places to buy inexpensive sari fabric to make curtains
& pillows with, but I have no local markets to go to. Where can I find them online?

Also I make & sell hemp jewelry, but have no outlet to sell at since I'm out of college. Do
you know of any sites where I could sell my stuff.

so, this morning i brought my trash out to the dumpster, and i saw an extremely rad-looking old television in the dumpster. i think, in the past, maybe on a tv show or something, i have seen fishtanks that looked like they were made from old televisions. do any of you know how i might go about this? is it possible? i looked online and all i could find was that video that makes your tv look like fish are swimming around, but no way to make that actually happen.

thanks for your help!

ok...here's my dilemma.

i'm an arts/crafts counselor for a day camp. i have 7 weeks i need to fill with crafts....haha. the kids range from 4-12 (and sometimes 13/14). both boys and girls. we do one week of lanyards. adn usually one week is devoted to 4th of July. does anyone here have any suggestions? either for everyone, or one age group, or one sex. either one day crafts or one that will last a lil while.

oh, and the materials have to be pretty cheap (my boss is cheaper than ANYTHING. like, it's tought o get him to buy paper and markers by august).

thanks :)

i finished this bag tonight... just knit two 9x9" squares together, the sides are the strap (with the squares attached, can't really explain), which gives the bag some extra room inside for my books and stuff. the back square is just a nice black so i can reverse it if need be. *kisses bag*
