Pooh bear

when i was 17 my husband bought me a classic pooh bear. it is my favorite thing so i take it everywhere. the other night a large piece of felt that was on his nose came off. i was wondering how i fix it?
i thought i could hot glue it but i wanted to ask people who know what their doing.
