A couple of months ago I posted my tea mural. Well, it's gotten bigger. Four shots of its life so far.

First up - does anyone have any recommendations for a good, free, really comprehensive sewing (clothes) reference site, with guides to doing pretty much everything? Or a book even!

I made this dress from a thrifted square scarf and stretchy black cotton fabric. I've just bought a ruffler foot which I'm really struggling with so this took much longer than it should have! but I really love the print

As promised...sorry the photo of me is so bad. I completely forgot to take any due to the stress and ridiculousness of the convention I was selling my clothing at.
I also got the camera strap in the photo of just the falls. Oops!

I made this for my hubby for Valentine's Day...I wasn't allowed to spend money because we spent all our money this week on paint and painted a couple rooms in our house, but I couldn't bear not giving him anything.

We can live like Jack and Sally if we want to... )

How many here make their own molds? What are your methods?

I know that Easy Craft(?) makes a ton of resin things, including these make-your-own-molds rubber and putty:

but I can never find anything in my local Michael's and Hobby Lobby (frankly, my city's crafting stores SUCK)

The two putties look easiest to use (frankly, I am not sure how you use the other two anyway as they're liquids?). What is your experiences?

I bought some rat mummies and skeletons off eBay a while ago and today they finally arrived in the mail... very much miss-IDed. lol. I have a mouse mummy and these things are half the size of it. I am positive they are young mice. And they are extremely fragile. While they were in transit I had all sorts of shadow-box ideas for them but now the only thing to do is make custom resin molds and seal them for life.
