I posted my little skully cake creation on Craftgrrl a couple days ago, and was so excited and grateful for all the positive feedback that I have now started onto my next idea of making them smaller keychains! BUT.. I have ran into a little snag :( (no pun intended)

I love this little guy a little too much. A realistic chameleon with poseable legs and tail! I had so much fun making him, you wouldn't believe it. He's made out of wool/rayon blend felt, polyester fiberfill, and creatively used pipe cleaners. =)

Measures (as photographed, with the tail curled) 7 inches/17.78 cm long.

I'm really happy with how he turned out. He's even more realistic than I expected. =)

I'm sorry about the watermarks; if they're a problem let me know and I'll delete my post.

about icons. Most of my icons are of people or scenes. I'd love to find some of crafty things without having to resort to taking pics of my own crafts right now. Does anyone have any suggestions of where I might look for some? Crochet, jewelry, felting and sewing are types of crafts I do. Thanks!

And so this isn't just a question without pics, under the cut are a couple of pics of a cuff/wristlet I made for my step daughter. It's in shades of hot pink, quilted and has beads for a closure.

Old pharmacy jar found at friends' and taken away from them with a promice to give back after decoration. I used transparent and opaque glass paints together with special relief paint and multisurface 3d paints for details.

every since i learned how to crochet and freefrom i've been unable to stop making octobunnies!
they are each made with a specific colour scheme that more or less reflects their background story.

Re-purposed Altoids tin made into a tiny shrine. When I saw the picture of Lady Gaga that is going to be used on the cover of Cosmo magazine it reminded me of Botticelli's Birth of Venus painting. This is my interpretation of that.

Materials used: postcard, picture, shells, paint, miniatures, glitter, ribbon, crystals, and lots of glue.

I've never done this with an altoid tin before, but I have seen lots of examples. I may try more, as this was lots of fun to do!

I seem to remember a DIY tutorial for wall decor that involved old magazines... anyone remember the link?

And what else is there to do with old comic books? I can't do much else, and surely don't wanna trash them! lol
