yarn wreaths

Hi all. It's been awhile since I last posted...just wanted to share the yarn wreaths I finished.


I made this one for myself; something cute and sunny to hang in my craftroom :)
I used a fabric napkin cut into strips to kinda bandage the flowers on.
The base is a 10 inch green floral ring from the Dollar Tree - I stocked up a bit on them so I would have some on hand for quick gifts. I haven't seen many of them at the local Dollar Trees lately :\

Leafy Tote

I've made a few custom totes recently, and I've been really bad at posting them here. This is definitely one of my favorites to date, so I wanted to share :)




I created the leafy pattern, screen printed it onto the fabric (in three custom mixed colors), and made some extra buttons out of some of the fabric scraps. I also reinforced the bottom, but I forgot to take a picture :(

I've got a box full of unfinished sewing projects and a huge fabric stash, and as I'm unemployed at the moment, I decided to get them all finished/used. Here's the first thing I finished, a dress made from a 1960s pattern
