Handcarving stamps/blocks

Hi! Long time lurker here. I've been wanting to get into hand carving stamps or larger blocks for a good while based off of my original doodles. So far I've only completed 2.

New To Community - My Emu Egg Craftyness

Hey Everyone,

I only just recently found this community and think its awesome!!

I'm 20 and have always loved crafty things, I mainly paint and draw, but I will try and make stuff whenever possible!

I made this emu egg about a year ago.

The materials I used were,

1 emu egg
1 wooden stand/base
dirt
rocks
glue
the hand is from one of my toys
clay for the tomb stone
acrylic paint
ribbon for around the edges of the shell



Also I apologize if i have missed anything!

I just finished this dreamcatcher, which took me aaaaages to make.
I made this because I don't like the dreamcatchers that you can buy in stores.
Don't know how they look in America, but in Europe, they're positively ugly...

Glow in the Dark Beads!

I recently got some glow in the dark frit (frit = ground up glass that you can melt into your lampwork beads), I have been playing with it and wow it really does glow! So cool!

LJ-Spotlight is a great thing, because I found a comm I can post my little projects in and people might actually give me some constructive criticism.Is that even the right way to say it?:D

Well:this is a skirt I did last week and my other project: a little shawl, because I didn't dare to try something bigger.I just started to learn how to knit and I wanted to try diffrent things :)
