handmade deer figurines!
Mar. 23rd, 2011 01:07 ami'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but i've caught the 'deer craze' that seems to be going around..i've been buying cute vintage deer figurines to use as props and in photography, but after awhile i thought, why am i buying these? i can probably make my own! so i gave it a try:
very happy with how it turned out! i've posted this one and a couple others on art sites i frequent, and they're a big hit! ;u;
i make them entirely by hand (including the little cabachons for their bows) out of original scupley, then paint them. i recently started making scented charms, and as silly as it might be, i couldn't resist making the deers scented, too (it is TOO much fun lol) this one smells like strawberry milk! <3
( 2 more under cut, plus WIP pics of the latest one )
i'd love to know what you guys think!!
man, i need to post and comment here more often, i love this community but i'm always involved in so many different craft projects, i forget x3
i've been making all kinds of cute little scented charms, yarn dreadfalls, and now i'm working on a little sculpture of one of my characters. gah x_x
