I finished my beach socks! (in progress here) I absolutely love them. The pattern is Baudelaire by Cookie A and I used Cascade Heritage.

Hello everyone, I am in need of some advise on how to go about this project for my gaming chair. I am going to be moving upstairs to a new bedroom in my townhouse and I'm going to create my room into something that feels like me, very much in tune with nature, flowers, woods, handcrafted items but the only issue I am having is one piece of furniture, my gaming chair. I am not sure on how to redecorate it. Do I make a cover out of fabric or try to attach fabric to it with a glue gun? I am just so lost. Any help would be much appreciated because I don't want to have my chair looks weird in the room nor do I want to get rid of it.

I'm hooked on odd jewelry displays. Last year I was using a branch that fell out of a tree while I was walking by it, but it started to fall apart when packed into the car.
So this year I made my own trees!

These are so much more stable and it's easy to get the earring cards on and off. Also, no one is getting whacked in the face!
They're just thin plywood with stain and a little black paint for depth. My spouse busted out the router to make quick work of the cutting. I was prepared to sit there with a coping saw forever, but he saved me.
