help with my purse =( [crochet]

bjorkdoll made a long while back. I've posted a pattern recently, which I'm asking the mod to take down from the memories because it's all messed up and wrong, and I'll be re-posting it along with pictures of the final purse whenever I finish it....
I ran across a problem. I've already finished the main rectangle of the purse (front and back and bottom) and I have to make the strap. However, I worked a row of "back loops only" on the wrong row.. there are pictures behind the lj-cuts to show you what I did.
The first picture shows how it's supposed to look. I first worked a row of "front loops only" so that the fabric would fold inwards. However, I worked the "back loops only" one row too soon (it should've been done in yellow and not orange, and should also have been front-loops-only). It folds the correct way (inwards), however, it folds one row too soon, so now I have a row of orange and one side is a row too long (and the bottom is one row too short). I think I'm explaining this pretty bad, which is why there are pictures.
Okay, so my question is this. Has anyone ever come across a problem AFTER cutting the yarn and such and been able to fix it? I was thinking, since where I messed up is where I changed colors.. I could simply undo it, fix the row, then reattach it.. but I'm not sure if I would be able to reattach it and make it look as if it was never taken apart.
I've given up on it for tonight since I've worked for hours already and my hand has cramped, but tomorrow I'm about to unravel it unless there's a way I can fix this. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

it should only be yellow, with an orange bottom.

very sharp folds is what i wanted and achieved, but a row too soon.
this is the messed up side.
it has an extra row sort of that realy is supposed to be at the bottom.
so now it's also one row too long. ugh ugh ugh.
i was supposed to work "front-loop-only" in the yellow!
not the orange! and i didn't notice!
UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE!
i am a sad girl forever. :( unless i can fix this.
i'd hate to unravel.
