been busy sewing skirts lately.

i sell my designs at a local store and i'm desperately trying to get more stock in store cause everything keeps selling faster than i can sew!

two are store stock so i made 3 of each, sizes 8,10 & 12 and one's for me, but i'm making more for store stock.

this skirt is for me, i love it. the front is very basic, simple a-line, but the back... i love the back. it's polyester with a teensy bit of stretch, so it hangs really well.
(when i try out a new design, i make it for myself first to test it out)

close up of the back. i made the back longer than the front, then made two little bustles.

even closer!

here's the side so that you can see the bustles. i lightened the pic a bit, hopefully you can see the folds better.

i'm making it for the store in this.

and these are store stock. they look so much better on a real person, but they're a tulip shape with lace trim, lapped zipper and a side tie. they seem to sell very well. these are the 3rd and 4th sets i've made and the first two both sold out within a week.

this one looks kinda boring, but when you move the grey stripes look silver and pick up the light.

i love this fabric. the backside is really cute too.
