December 31, 2003 14th Annual National Juried Art Exhibition: FACES OF WOMAN, a celebration of the feminine. Exhibition dates: Mar 19 - Apr 16, 2004. Deadline for receipt of slides and entry forms is FEBRUARY 16TH. Fee: $15 per entry. Cash Awards. All media original work in 2 or 3 dimensions, completed within the past two years. The Juror will be Ellen Landis whose professional experience includes being curator of Art at the Albuquerque Museum, various California museums and collections, as well as curator of painting & sculpture at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Dec 01, 2003 CALL FOR ART BY NORTH CAROLINA WOMEN The Women's Center announces a call for entries to its 20th annual juried art show and sale, Through Women's Eyes, By Women's Hands. The event, the largest show of its kind in the state, will be held February 20-29, 2004, at the Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel. The Women's Center is a non-profit resource center offering information, education, referral and support services to Triangle area women and their families. For more information contact:
