a call for super stenciling tips
Nov. 27th, 2003 02:56 amok, after looking at faqs and tutorials on stencil revolution for days, i
FINALLY went out to joann's fabrics and bought a bottle of black acrylic paint, textile medium, and two sheets of plastic from the quilting department which was my only option there.
so i go home and print out some lovely photoshopped stencils and proceed to trace and cut with my bro's exacto knives.
BUT, i am having a hell of a time cutting things out! i can't do fine details and i have to go over the same line over and over HARD to cut. took a LONG ti.me to make a simple stencil (woman shaking fist at sky)
SO my questions to all you lovely folk:
are there easier mediums to make stencils from that you all recommend?
are there any other sharp pointy things that you all prefer to use?
