"a wall-thingy"

craftgrrlwell, at ceramicsclass i made this to be put on the wall. i just don't know what do use it for...i was thinking of glueing (?) a corkboard on it to use as a notice-board. but i don't know. does anyone have any ideas what to do with it?
it's white after the burningprocess but i am thinking of painting it with acrylic-colors to make it more personal. the area where the empty space is is maybe something like 15x10 cm. so it's not very big.
