christmass decoration
Nov. 29th, 2003 12:47 pmlimited budget and little sewing skills needed and lots of fun can begin:
-take any shape you want (i am going for stars, moons, suns)
-make a stencil (pattern)out of hard paper, cut it out
-cut out two (each can be different fabric, for double sided effect)shapes out of any fabric
-sew the edges (simple 1/4" topstitch, not bothering with inside out, just outside topstitch) leave small piece open
-stuff with a little stuffing for more 3D effect, sew close
-sew ribbon on the top and there you go hang on the tree..
;)
-once they are finished, you can randomly topstitch, to give it more texture...
