[identity profile] sweatoutheart.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
A girl who's in some of my classes has had a rough time this semester - her daughter had some sort of tumor, now a few people in her family are really sick. We decided to make her a card, but I'm kind of stuck as far as ideas. I don't want it to be a straight-up sympathy card, because (thank goodness) no one has died. I guess it should be somewhat cheerful, you know, "you'll get through it" kind of thing. Any suggestions about a message/materials to use/anything at all? I didn't really see anything appropriate in the FAQ/Memories section. I think the problem is just that I have too many ideas and don't really know how to narrow it down, so any help would be appreciated. I checked in the paper_crafts community but didn't find much (that would be appropriate for this, anyway).

Thanks. :)
