Sealing

I bought some unfinished incense burners today (this style), and am painting them with just cheap Crafter's Acrylic (from the dollar store).

I want to seal these cheaply - will Modpodge be ok? It won't melt funny or anything if embers fall on it, will it?



I'm putting together a relaxation basket for my friends for Christmas, and since I'm poor it has to be cheap.

So far I have:
- homemade bathsalts in various smells and colours
- homemade sugar scrub
- homemade candles (haven't done them yet)
- homemade heat bag
- hand painted incense burner (and store-bought incense, unless someone knows how to make it)
- homemade loofah soaps
- (pirated) relaxation CD
- bought scrubbies
- ...

Anyone have any good recipes for face masks, bath tea sachets, eye packs...? I am open to suggestions!
