A few...crafty questions
Dec. 9th, 2003 06:31 pmThese are all pretty much random butttt..here goes!
*What would be the best way, and the best type of thread to take in a pair of vinyl pants that I have? I've never tried taking in an article of clothing, so could someone point me in the right direction? ^_^
*Im pretty much broke this year for X-mas. I want to get my mom something but I figure it would be more sentimental if I could just make something up. Shes working on getting a management position for the cafeteria in elem./middle/high schools and shes a baker/likes to bake. The gift wouldn't really have to relate to that, but I thought it would be nice if it could. I can sew and probably do other things that aren't costly. Any suggestions??
*The other night I went to Wal*Mart and decided I wanted to learn how to knit. I bought a roll of yarn and a 'Knitting Made Easy' booklet. I dont think I have knitting needles, but I have crochet needles, which could probably work efficiently enough, right? The booklet is really confusing, so could someone leave a link or contact me with a little help? lol.
Thats all for now!
Oh yeah..and I made a cute gift for my boyfriend for our anniversary/x-mas. I was telling someone on here about it awhile ago. I'll upload pics and post them in a few minutes!
