Marble Magnet Tip
Dec. 9th, 2003 11:17 pmI've been making those nipple magnets that I was talking about last week and they are great!
Anyway, I found a wonderful new silicone glue that I'm using.
It comes in a white PLASTIC tube, so unlike E6000 its not going to burst on you or seep out everywhere.
It also doesn't stink nearly as much as E6000 and it seems to hold just as well. Its a bit more flexible when dry, but that's good because that means when your marble magnets get dropped they've got some give and are less likely to break.
The glue is made by GE (weird, eh?). It is called Silicone II: 100% Silicone Sealant. It has "Household Glue" written down the side. It is labeled "Clear" so I'm assuming it might come in another shade as well. Make sure you check yours.
It also has a lifetime guarantee and a "durable watertight seal" so it probably has some other great uses too.
I found it in the HARDWARE section of my local Wal-Mart.
