i have a quick question. it's not so much crafty, but i think you guys can help me...maybe.

i have this white shirt i bought at old navy and it's brand new. today i was running late so i just wore that under my work shirt instead of changing, and someone threw water all over me at work, and the marroon in the work shirt dyed my white one! is there any way to fix it? i tryed dousing it in bleach and water when i got home to no avail. if i can't make it white, what dye to you recomend to turn it black?


and so this isn't just a question entry...and because i want to show off. beware: eight fairly large pictures.








this is one of several cards i made. i'm rather proud of it. the other ones are cute, but this one rocks the house.

the rest of this is stuff from the "gift bowl" i'm doing for my best friend. it's kind of a pamper yourself/girl power theme. everything's going to go into a bowl which will be decorated on the side to say, "big bowl of self-esteem" and on the rim to say things like, "i rule," "i'm talented," "i'm smart," etc.


soap. the picture's not great, but you can see what it says.


journal. i took the easy way out, instead of cutting paper and binding it and so on myself, i just bought a hard backed journal and recovered it using mod podge (i LOVE mod modge). her favorite color is blue, that's a killer picture of her (i think so anyway), and the text fits her to a tee ("she had not yet decided whether to use her power for good or for evil...").


i just thought this was hilarious, and she'll appreciate the humor as well (it says, "i think i feel a sin coming on..."). it's a magnet, by the way.


it's a box of chocolates. it says, "because cramps don't go away by themselves." need i say more?


mirror. i again took the easy way and just sharpied on the text ("aren't i gorgeous") instead of etching.


another magnet. she's a kappa delta and these are their greek letters in their colors.

and this isn't for her, it's mine. i liked her magnet so much i made one for me in my sorority letters/colors. mine turned out cuter, i think.




oh yeah, and all ideas for the gift bowl were stolen from uncommongoods.com.
