help!

ok, i want to make a guitar strap from scratch.

i checked out the memories but didn't find anything helpful. i can sew pretty well (my sewing machine is out of commission, but i would hope i could do this by hand without a problem...just a little more time), and i have a bunch of different types of fabric.

i don't have another guitars strap to go by, and i'd really like to make one completely from scratch, as opposed to buying one and modifying it in any way.
