making notepads
Dec. 17th, 2003 03:59 pmI am getting gifts together for a gift basket for my dad and I had a few questions. First, any suggestions would be helpful. I bought him two cds he wanted, so I don't want to add any mixed cds (plus I gave him one as a secret santa gift). I was going to make some note pads (where you stack up paper and then put glue at the top, so it is like a scratch pad/note pad. I checked the memories, but couldn't find instructions. Does anyone know how well this works and what glue you would use. I also made him some marble magnets, but now I am at a loss of what to do. I am out of money and time is getting short. I also did a daily letter thing - I send him a letter each day until christmas that has a nice thought or sayig about life lessons, etc. The first letter let him know that all of the thoughts will solve a puzzle on christmas eve. The final letter he will get with his gift will say that all of these positive lessons are the gift he has given me - like a chicken soup for the soul type thing. So anyhting else that could go in the gift basket besides the standards usually posted (most of them are already being put in - lip balm, soap, coffee spoons)would be helpful. Thanks.
