i drew my dad a picture of my brother when he was four wearing a fire hat and standing outside on our sidewalk, waiting for my dad to get home from work. (he's a firefighter) everything's in black and white except i did the hat in red. when my dad opened it...he got all teary-eyed. my mom owes me 5 bucks cause i bet he would :) mission accomplished. *grins*

my sister got a digital camera for christmas so pictures to come. hope everyone had great reactions from those who received hand-made gifts
