CD wallet for friend's birthday
Jan. 9th, 2004 08:28 pmOh how I wish, I wish, I wish I had a digital camera
anyways, I made this for my friend's birthday and it took WAY more effort than I thought it would. That's okay though, he's worth it
i used this pattern for the basics
what I've been doing instead of crocheting this week...(tons of pics behind first)

front cover of the CD case. Some random record from Sals Army and some belt ribbon from joann's. D rings, yay! Oh yeah, and even though you can't see it, i lined the inside with this great plush floresent orange material (dollar bin at joann's)

the binding.

everything spread out
then i have the envelopes scanned seperately...

i traced these on to some paper and then sorta rubbed the outline into the black paper. used some of those lovely gel pens that my mom seems to have a million of. BTW, scanning makes all stitching look 9238052085times worse

inside...ooooh leopard print sexiness!

this was the cover of one of the albums i bought to experiment with. totally cool and freaky looking. sorta wish i had listened to the album before i mutilated it now. my sewing machine wasn't really up to the task of sewing through all of this so i just figured i could call it punk rock

inside

dude i'm giving this too is all like "punk" so i thought this would be funny. the awful bright colors like the old album covers and t-shirts. also, i suck at drawing so ignore the crap punker.

inside (with CDs so its less boring)

this is some $1 fabric from the joann's bargin bin (i'm addicted). i don't think i realized when i bought it but when i looked at it later it has some truly bizzare slogans written all over it ("slash and go rule, ok?", "who wants future chaosvominator")

okay, sorta boring

i wasn't even about to try drawing some skulls. :(

walmart fabric!

and the back...the end
