I recently got my first car - which is pretty sad considering I am 28. Anyway, this opens up a whole new realm of crafting. I was hoping you folks could give me some good ideas. As of now there is no easy, in car storage other than a small glove box. Some pockets on the backs of the front seat would be helpful. I have a two year old and could use places to put diapers, toys, etc. I would also like to do some things that were functional yet made the car a little more personal. It is a dark green, escort station wagon. I know I am a mom, but I wasn't ready to jump into the station wagon phase yet. I need to make the car a little more hip. I am also a new driver, so the only thing I have come up with so far is a binder for directions. I am decorating a binder and then I am going to go to map quest and print out to and from directions for anyplace I can think of. On another not-so-crafty note, I was wondering if anyone new where I could get a key chain or stickers or somehting with Dori on it - the fish from Finding Nemo who has no short term memory. She is my driving mascot becuase I am kind of directionally, memory challenged and when I get in a scary driving spot I sing "just keep swimming..." That may make me a dork, but it saves me from freaking out and getting in a wreck. Anyway, any help is appreciated.
