Feb. 6th, 2004 09:35 pmSo I've got this pair of grey corduroy pants that I got sick of wearing, but they're in excellent condition (they'd better be, they were like $60 at PacSun). I'm using this tutorial as a guideline for making them into a skirt. The new Joann Fabric super store just opened up today so I checked it out. They have *no* corduroy. (I figured, as it's a winter fabric and everyone is making spring stuff.) I was going to try and use a contrasting color, like red corduroy, but now I'm wondering if I should just try and get a matching grey corduroy. I was hoping to actually have the fabric in my hands and look at it against the pants, but my only choice is to look online now. Any opinions? Stick with corduroy fabric or use something else? Contrasting color?
