Leopard bathroom sink skirt
Feb. 22nd, 2004 04:49 pmMy bathroom sink is free-standing, with no cupboards or vanity. In order to camoflauge all my crap, I decided to make a bathroom sink skirt. While shopping with a friend, she found this great purple satin leopard-print fabric. I didn't use any pattern, just cut three panels of the appropriate width & length, and added a band to go all the way around the sink. The real problem is attaching the skirt to the sink. I sewed velcro to the band, and attached stick on velcro to the sink. When that didn't work I used caulking to attach the velcro to the sink, but it's still coming off on the side nearest the tub. Any ideas short of serious glue (I rent, so the skirt has to come off without incident when I leave)?
