belt!

this is my first crocheted belt. i love it. it's really simple, single crochet until it was long enough to wrap around my waist 1.25 times.



just a close-up of the closure. i had originally intended to use D-rings, but non-crafty-tally struck again, and i couldn't find them ANYWHERE. i also wanted to use silver, but i couldn't find that either.



a kinda blurry picture of the detail. i used handspun silk yarn, and it was SUCH A PAIN to work with. it kept snagging and fraying. then the gauge of it kept changing from really thick to really thin.
