I just learned to crochet a few months ago, but I've been busy making a few things. I'm fortunate enough to have an adoring girlfriend who is an amazing photographer, so I have some interesting photos of my creations:
This one is made entirely of ribbon---two strands, one of light green, the second a medium-olive green. The majority of the hat is dc'd and has a half-moon attached to the front, also in ribbon, with two strands--one of each color--dangling in the front.

This one is a play on white on white. I came across these small white "poms" that looked like delicious little marshmallows. So, I decided to buy some white yarn. I pre-strung the yarn with the "marshmallows" with a large crafting needle, and immediately wished I hadn't when the crocheting started. :) It came out lovely (to me), though.
