Mar. 23rd, 2004 04:04 pmfinally, after a few months lurking, my first post! a little introduction: my name's laura, i'm just about 18, and i've been an incredibly crafty person since the day i was born. my current favorites are knitting, designing and sewing my own clothes, and turning old yardsale items into new, usable things for my room. but i dabble in everything-- chances are, if i haven't tried it, i'm planning to.
onto the post: after a couple years, i want to go back to scrapbooking. since i'm graduating soon, i really want to get my scrapbook, which has always been wanting for more attention, really together, culling all the extra stuff so i'll have something nie to take with me to school. so basically, I'm starting over. This time, I want to be very careful to keep a constant "theme" throughout the book. Since I love old/vintage things, I thought that it would be fun to keep each page to a decade theme-- aka mod, retro, roaring 20's, a sock-hop theme, etc. My questions:
1) any good layout tutorials online that might be helpful?
2) what brands of scrapbooking materials might have stamps/die cuts/papers that would work well?
