I'm no longer drowning!
Mar. 25th, 2004 03:02 amI've stayed up too late working on organizing my craft area, but it was very worth it. Although I'm not done, I feel much better about the whole situation and can't wait to take it to the next level.
This post has the before pictures. And here

I cleared out the stuff that was just sitting around waiting to go to someone's garage sale. Emptied the trunk of craft odds and ends because I decided it is going to be strictly for clothes. Put my yarn in the giant tin (I may change this later because I use my yarn A LOT) and organized all the stuff into categories.
I've started a shopping list. So far it has a pencil box for paints and brushes and 4 plastic bins on it.
I am also going to try to make a book of craft ideas and patterns I have currently laying around as a pile of papers.
On my desk I laid out all the projects I'm in the middle of and, after I move my books, I will put those projects on the bookshelves.
Wow. I feel like this place is getting under control. I'm really excited about getting it finished and organized well enough that I will never have to organize it again. If anyone is thinking her craft area could use a little organization, just dive in and do it. You will be so happy you did. I'll be here for you if you need a hand just as so many helped me!
is a peek at my progress so far. Thank you, guys! All the encouragement and support helped me more than you may have imagined it would. DAMN this place rocks!
