Curious...and oh HI *GRIN*

craftgrrlHi I am new to the commmunity been lurking alittle and commenting...I am a crafter from way back. I have been since I was alittle kid...crafty lol not sure in a good way but anyway.
I was looking on ebay last night for at some mosaic tiles...and i saw something I had not seen before and NOW I am obsessed with figuring out how to make them.
They are the little glass mosaic tiles but they have been made with clear glass and back with fabric, then cut to about 1x1 squares. I was curious has anyone done that. I am sooo not paying like $14 for 30 tiles, that I think I can make myself...
so my question is HOW do you attach the fabric to the glass then cut it so that it does fray or is stiff enough to cut with the glass cutter. Or and I thinking about this is the wrong way.
I was thinking attach the fabric to the glass THEN cut or would it be the otherway around?
So if someone would help me out with this I would appreciate it...ALSO if there are any crafties in Georgia I was thinking about maybe doing a craft club thing 1x a month....anyone interested?
