craftgrrlhey everyone. i just won a dritz dressform on ebay.
who has one? are they good? i got it for about $60 off retail, so i'm pretty excited. i've heard mixed reviews, so i'm curious as to what you all think.
basically i'm most excited about not having to constantly make stuff in only a bra or whatever, since i have to keep trying what i'm making on (when working without a pattern). i like working with the window open and that doesn't work so well when you're topless! and also about being able to make things for other people (or to sell) without having to guesstimate so much. i'm a largish person, and if i were to make something to sell i'd rather have it be wearable by a majority of people, or at least by a majority of people that i personally know (easy to sucker them into buying your stuff! heh).
anyways, just to make this not text only, here are some scarves i've made recently with my mattel knit magic. they're all about 9 feet long or so. the pink is lionbrand microspun, the white is some mohair and the grey is an AMAZING angora/cashmere blend i got off ebay. mmmmmmmmmm.
