The paint has a slightly pearlized finish, so it really catches the light. The lillies really seem to glow. I can't quite capture that effect with my ghetto camera.

I've been so busy this school year. I usually make a lot of things on my own as "art therapy" for the job stress, but this has been an especially crazy year. I hope to make more painted furniture this year. I was given an old church pew, and I'm seriously tempted to do it up with Waterlillies, as well. :)

I love the quote I put on the stool. :)
