craftgrrlWith moments to spare I finished my mom's present for tomorrow...
I've never sewn a quilt before; I've never sewn anything this big before. It's just short of being the size for a double bed, though I'm sure it would work fine if needed. It's for our couch in the family room--we've been using my old comforter that's white with pastel hearts on it to lay with up until now. I know my mom will be happy to have something a bit more "grown up."
It's not perfect by any means, but from a distance it looks pretty good :o) I'm proud of my first (and probably last) effort at this craft.
