May. 11th, 2004 11:31 amThis is the first crafty thing I've done in quite a long time, and I'm pretty proud of it. Also, I've never posted, so this is my "hello" post. Hi.
My wedding was this last weekend, and for a gift for our guests, I made these little boxes:

Those would be our "wedding colors", as it were- white, cream, and black. The inside:

I fully admit the inside with the "May 7th" is kind of hideous. I had wanted to do a quote but lacked the proper equipment and it was the night before the wedding, so I made sure they will never forget our anniversary. Hah! Anyway, the little tag says "Kisses from the new Mister and Missus". The bottom, which I didn't take a picture of, is just a thank you for attending our wedding.
Anyway, we're having a house-warming party this summer, I think, and I'd like to do essentially the same thing, except filled with different things. Anyone know what I could use over black paint that I could write with? It doesn't have to be white, just any color will do.
Thanks...
