Barbie Bizarre Magazine holds a huge contest for re-making barbie dolls every year. Currently they have this years national entries up if anyone is interested in seeing them.

You don't have to vote to go through the entries, but there are some really stunning dolls on display.
They have an international contest, and a national contest every year. For the national contest the deadline is usually the first/second week of January. Then you wait till April before you get to see all the other entries. I'm not sure about the deadlines for the international contest. But it's open to anyone and everyone. and you don't need to use Barbie....any barbie like doll will work....

If you want to vote, you have to click on the link under the doll you want to vote on after you get to the catagories. It uses email to send in your vote. You can only vote once per catagory or your votes will be disqualified. But you don't have to vote to see all the beautiful dolls =)
