craftgrrlTonight my sewing project will be making an old black zip-up hoodie smaller, make elbow length sleeves, and stitch fabric bird cut-outs to the back (and maybe line the hood with some vintage material? i don't know how! anyone?).
The questions is... vinyl birds, or velvet birds?
How well would the vinyl stay on the sweatshirt? I'm worried it would be to heavy, and not wash well. But then again, can you machine wash velvet? What do you think?
