i recently made a really cute scarf in the type of stitch that curls...you know, where you k one row, p the next, etc. i thought that by doing two stitches on the border of the scarf in the garter stitch, that would stop it from curling. unfortunately, it hasn't...it's still cute, but i would like it a lot more if it would lay flat. i tried blocking it by getting it damp and then laying it out flat to dry, but that didn't help. it's part acrylic and part wool, should i try and iron it? is there a good way to make this lay flat permanently?

thanks for your help!
