Tired of sweeping pins out of the back of drawers, pulling them out of the carpet, etc. whenever I needed them, and not being a big fan of the hard red plastic wrist cuffs I created this:






The cushion is just a tube of felt shaped like a bolster pillow which I appliqued on with felt and embroidery floss. For the wristband, I painted on some felt with sparkly nail polish and then sewed clear vinyl over the top to keep it from stretching. It closes with velcro. If I was to make another one of these, I would line the bottom of the inside of the cushion with some plastic or something, because sometimes if I knock my wrist against something it pushes the needles through and they all jab me in the wrist.
