This is my first post, I have watched this community for a couple years now. I like doing all sorts of crafts, painting, drawing, scrapbooking, Rubber stamping, just about anything!

Recently I have been helping a friend make Lanyards with crystal beads. She is going to do a 60 mile walk for Breast Cancer later this summer. So she is doing some fund raising for this event.





Her husband handmade the Cancer awareness ribbon. I know the pic isn't that great, it's quite beautiful. And he has never made charms before!



This is a shot of the finished Lanyard, I used my daughter's security cards as an example. I made 7 of these today. The colored beads are sapphire, clear filler beads, and the silver spacers.

I will be helping her made these all week. I get to do what she would like to do but she has a 9 to 5-er...So she recruited her husband and I to made these this week, for the big fund raising craft sale next week!

But then again it is for a GREAT cause!


My friend has made bracelets and necklaces using the charm her husband made. Cancer awareness is a big part of their lives, she lost her Mother 11 years ago to Breast Cancer, then her husband lost his Mother two years ago to Breast Cancer. So this is a big deal to them, and I feel good helping them.
