Behind the cut is a magazine purse that I made today out of a 2.62 pound "Laffy Taffy" plastic tub. The 1970s Vintage Magazine Clutch Purses inspired me to make some kind of purse out of a fashion magazine since I couldn't afford either a new or Vintage magazine clutch. :o( Following the pics is a description of what I used to make it. And we all know what Demi's famous for right now. ;o)

The only thing I bought was the $4 initial scarf to stuff into it. I made the demin hobo bag that lines it way back in by teens. I decorated it with a 1997 "In Style" magazine using "Mod Podge, Matte-Mat". I adorned it with Austrian crystals that were sold as body jewels. It has a wire handle strung with an array of plastic beads. I've had the plastic tub for years thinking I could use it for something. Hubby says I keep the weirdest things. *grin*
Don't ya love the "Cheap Chic" that I put on the front of it? ;o)
