Aug. 7th, 2004 04:21 pmHere's what I had:

A simple pouch with a button closure (I haven't pressed the flap with an iron yet)

The inside of the pouch

A miniskirt, which turned out too tiny for me. It's got a 30 inch waist.

A messenger bag, out of Mom's old pants from when she was a child. The strap is really white canvas, but for some reason in the picture it's pale pink.

The front of the messenger bag, with the flap up. This has a silky light blue pocket in front.

This is something I've never tried...I was inspired by an envelope. So here's my version of an envelope bag. This was probably by far the hardest purse I've ever made, because of how stretchy the fabric is, and how I needed the lines to be straight.
I'd gladly post a tutorial if anyone is curious as to how I made any of it. Thanks for letting me share!:)
