Aug. 22nd, 2004 09:52 pmHello again! I have no new completed projects, but just two main questions on two projects!
Uno. I want to make a hand bag for a friend, out of a shirt that I gave her for her birthday but it's too small for her (there are no larger sizes and she loves the band that's on the shirt...). I was going to use bamboo handles, but then I realized that it would be really rad to use plastic discs instead. Where might I find something like that? You've probably seen those bags with the bamboo handles, and so I'm asking also for patterns or places where I could buy one cheap to use as a pattern. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Dos. I have this awesome shirt that I've had since the eighties (umm, okay, so I was born in the eighties, but my parents had it from the eighties and gave it to me) and it has sticker residue on it from a sticker I had on it and accidentally put it through the wash with the sticker on it! It looks hopeless, like the sticker has been baked into the shirt, but I was curious if there might be any way to remove the sticker stuff. I think the shirt is cotton, if it helps at all. =)
Thank you all so much! <3
