hey everyone!

i've been lurking for a while (hard to post craft pics when you don't have a camera) but wanted to let you guys know about something i've been doing that's not crafty so much as it's crafty organization.

a lot of times when i'm making things from other people's recipes, i change ingredients and measurements as i go, but forget to right them down. then i've forgotten what's what by the next time i go to make a new batch. i'm sure you all know the disappointment of inconsistancy.

so here is my new solution: i got a box with alphabetical index (you can make these on your own or buy them pre-done) and am writing down all my recipes on 4 x 6 index cards. i've also written down product info (what's good and not for various projects). so far this has been a huge help to me, plus it's nice to have all your recipes together in one place!!
